organizes ABCs of Touring rides for any members wanting to
participate in this national H.O.G. program. These rides will
be scheduled Chapter rides and announced in the Chapter
Newsletter. Everyone is invited. John will bring his
camera and take all the photos so that it is not
necessary to have your own camera to join in the fun. Just

Program Description
The ABCs of Touring is designed to get you out on your bike
and cover some ground. It is a National HOG program in which you
accumulate points and earn specially designed ABCs of Touring
mementos (pins, patches, bandannas, etc). See your current HOG
Membership Manual for full details of the program.
In
a nutshell, you ride to destinations and take
pictures of you, your bike, and a copy of Hog Tales or
Enthusiast beside an "official sign". To locate the
required "official signs", you will find yourself
riding a lot of miles. When you have enough pictures to complete
the entry form, you submit it to HOG and they tally your points
and send your memento. Submitting an entry also enters you in
the competition for the most points in a year with cash prizes
for 1st, 2nd and 3rd places and plaques for the next 10
runners-up.
You do not have to make all the rides and you do not have to
be in every picture. You can always participate in ABCs of
Touring by yourself, with a few friends or on these Chapter
rides.
